In a significant move, the City Corporation of Panjim (CCP) has embarked on a mission to rectify unapproved constructions that were erected by a casino within the heart of Panjim. It was observed that the casino had overstepped its boundaries by extending its structures onto the pristine promenade area, thereby encroaching upon the precious footpath space.
This encroachment not only posed a challenge to the aesthetics of the area but also created a hindrance for pedestrians, depriving them of their rightful walking space. Moreover, the excessive placement of signboards further exacerbated the situation, contributing to the growing nuisance of clutter on both footpaths and roadsides. Understanding the gravity of the issue, the CCP took swift action to address this concern by dismantling the unauthorized constructions.
