PANJIM: Fed up with the cost incurred in maintaining its old vehicles, the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has decided to utilise government funds to purchase new trucks, tractors, sky cutters and other machines.
CCP Mayor Uday Madkaikar said, ”Every year we are getting each vehicle passed and we are also maintaining other machines. Some of them are not in working condition and the same cannot be auctioned or scrapped without government inspections.”
