CCP’S SELECTIVE VISION

On Friday morning, CCP was quick in shunting out a homeless migrant family from an open area at St Inez. The manner in which they removed the family that consists of three small children drew in the ire of passerby’s. Questions were raised as to if there could have been a more humane approach to the proceedings and more importantly, how CCP has been ignoring other eyesores in its jurisdiction. For instance, there’s construction waste dumped in the fish market parking area; an abandoned two-wheeler dumped on the road side near Dempo House; and discarded electronic waste items like tube lights lying on the road in the Panjim market area.
