PONDA: A pole erected at Ponda Bus Stand for installing a CCTV camera is on the verge of collapse. The passengers have demanded to remove the pole which may pose risk to life of passengers or vehicles travelling from the said area.
The CCTV installed in Ponda is non functional since past several years and has just remained a show piece, said Ponda locals.
The pole is located at the busy old Ponda Bus Stand junction near the newspaper stand. It is kept standing with the help of stones at the base.
