Chandor club defeated Navelim Sporting club 2-1 in Custodio Memorial Football Trophy, organised by Raia Sporting club at Raia village panchayat ground on Monday. Despite the heavy rains sports lovers from Curtorim, Loutolim, Nuvem, Chandor, Navelim, Fatorda and other parts of Salcete were in the stands to watch the match. Man of the Match award was presented to Alton Vaz of Chandor Club.
