MARGAO: Four members of Chandor Panchayat have moved a no confidence motion against Deputy Sarpanch Mafaldina Martins.
The signatories to the motion are Sarpanch Celina Coelho Furtado panchas Arlinda Tereza and Edward D’Silva and sitting panch and former sarpanch Derrick Braganza Pereira. The no confidence motion will be taken up for discussion on July 20.
The no confidence monition has been moved against Mafaldina Martins for not cooperating with the ruling members and for going public with issues that should have been raised and discussed at the panchayat meeting.
