MARGAO: The gram sabha of Chandor on Sunday resolved to ask the Panchayat to prepare a master plan for the village.
At the gram sabha meeting held this morning, members referred to the government scheme to allot Rs one crore each to the village panchayats across the State. Hence, they pointed out that the Panchayat should prepare and put in place a master plan to take up various developmental activities once the government allots the fund to the Panchayat body.
Sarpanch Etelvina Antao, who chaired the meeting, said the Panchayat would prepare the master plan and the same would be discussed with the ward development committee.
The gram sabha also decided that the village panchayat should take up beautification projects, with members suggesting preparation of the plan for implementation.
The beautification of the Oilem Tollem also came up for discussions at the meeting.
