The posting of the new staff at the Police Outpost in Dona Paula created confusion among locals, as vehicles were not allowed to pass towards the jetty area to their homes and establishments. The new staff as per the High Court Order did not let any vehicles pass, except the pick-up and drop-off vehicles for senior citizens and the differently abled, which further angered the locals.
Traffic PI Panjim Chetan Saulekar stated that the confusion occurred due to the High Court Order, but it has been resolved and locals were allowed to pass.
