VASCO: All Goa Congress Committee Minority Department Chairman Saifullha Khan has condemned the allegations made by Akhil Bhartiya Vishwa Parishad (ABVP) that NSUI President Hasiba Amin Mulla is involved in a scam of Rs 3 crore.
Addressing a news conference, Khan stated that it was wrong on the part of ABVP to level such an allegation against a woman without any proof. “All India Congress Committee Vice President Rahul Gandhi has appointed her to head the NSUI at the national level due to her honesty and sincerity,” said Khan.
Khan urged the ABVP to tender an apology for maligning the image of an honest person without any proof.
Khan said Hasiba is neither involved in any scam nor has any criminal record and questioned the basis of ABVP for making such a statement.
“Hasiba is a decent Goan girl who passed basic education and graduated in law from Goa,” he said.
Khan urged ABVP to get their facts right before levelling charges against anyone.
