MARGAO: Colva Police on Wednesday filed a 250-page charge sheet against four persons, accused of killing an Assam native namely Samuel alias Rahul Soren at Varca on December 12, 2017. Two of the four accused were produced before the court on Wednesday and were given a copy of the chargesheet. The remaining two will be given their copies when they will be produced before the court on Thursday.
It may be recalled that Samuel was allegedly murdered in the midst of a birthday party by Magna Gope along with his friends Pradeep Horo and Safar Khan on December 12, 2017 along with Magna’s wife Ettan Devi alias Asha Devi. All four are natives of Jharkhand. Jose Elvino Fernandes, in whose quarters Magna was staying with his wife and two children, filed a police complaint on December 17, 2017 that the family was missing. Police began probe.

They found Samuel’s body buried near the beach around 500 metres away and the body was exhumed in the presence of the whole team of experts including forensic team, medical officers, police surgeon, photographer, etc.
