Crime Branch officials said murder charges have been framed against all arrested accused including Dattaguru Sinari, Diya Sinari wife of Dattaguru, Kishore Mahto and late Devidas Sinari brother of Dattaguru.
CB Police inspector Dattaguru Sawant was investigating the case and nabbed all four accused within a month after case was transferred to Crime Branch from Bicholim Police station.
The 454 page chargesheet has statements of almost 77 witnesses. One of the accused, Devidas Sinari, who was working with the Police department as constable committed suicide in Police custody after his arrest.
Bicholim resident Carol was allegedly murdered by the Sinari brothers in December 2015 and his body was dumped in Usgao.
