Three coaches of the Charminar Express derailed, resulting in injuries to at least six passengers at the Nampally railway station in Telangana on Wednesday morning at 9:15 am. The incident took place while the train was en route from Chennai.
According to railway authorities, the derailment occurred as the train reached Nampally, which serves as the terminal point for this route. The passengers who sustained injuries were reportedly standing near the train’s doors at the time of the incident.
Quick action was taken following the derailment, with the injured individuals transferred to the railway hospital for medical attention at the out patient dept.
