MARGAO: Cheating accused Jaganath Nalwadi who was arrested by Margao police on a complaint by a lady has been remanded to seven days police custody. Meanwhile, Nalwadi is learnt to have filed a bail application before Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao, which will come up for hearing on May 13.
Margao police arrested Nalwadi from Maharashtra after a lady, Joslina Fernandes filed a complaint. Fernandes, in her complaint, alleged that Nalwadi took Rs 50 lakh on the promise of providing her a house.
On Saturday, Margao police sealed the office of the accused situated at Malbhat.
