MARGAO: An offence of cheating under Section 420 IPC has been registered against Anil Shalini Roy and others of Royal Consultancy, Meera Road, Thane-Mumbai on complaint filed by Milagres Godinho, Curtorim.
Milagres in his complaint to the Maina-Curtorim police has accused Anil, Shalini and others of Royal Consultancy to have induced him through internet to part with Rs 41,500 on the pretext of providing job to his son Diago Godinho with Crystle Cruise Company for the post of Commi-3 and failed to provide the job. Further, the accused issued a cheque for the payment made by Milagres which bounced when presented in bank. PSI Deu Mangaonkar is investigating.
