Stating that Tuesday’s incident is an eye opener for the electorate, Chicalim Sarpanch Raul D’Costa said the October 31 municipal elections will be the most crucial day for the people of the port town.
“People have to choose between gooda raj and people’s raj,” D’Costa told Herald.
Coming down heavily on Vasco Police Inspector Braz Menezes, D’Costa accused the PI for not having allowed him in the police station to give his statement.
“I was refused entry in the police station by the PI although I was an eyewitness to the incident,” D’Costa told Herald and added that Jose Philip’s supporters were allowed in.
