Chicalim woman found dead at Siridao

VASCO, JULY 24
The 35-year-old woman who was reported missing from her residence at Chicalim was found dead at Siridao beach.
According to police reports, Nutan Sunil Salkar had left her residence on Friday evening following an argument with her husband and did not return home.
“The Drishti Special Response Service noticed a semi-nude body floating along the shore at Shirdao beach on Saturday morning and retrieved the body,” informed Agascaim PI Vishwesh Karpe.
However, family members suspect that Nutan may have committed suicide as she had left her house after a minor argument with her husband and she had said that she would go to her mother’s place, added police.
Police has sent the body for an autopsy at the GMC hospital in Bambolim and investigations are in progress.
