PONDA: In a fatal accident near Sanjivani Sugar Factory at Dharbandora, a two-year-old child died on the spot, while its father suffered injuries to his stomach.
After taking treatment at the Primary Health Centre at Usgao, the victims were returning to their residence on a two-wheeler, when the rider lost control of the vehicle and crashed to the ground. The child died on the spot while its father Madansab suffered injuries. He has been admitted in Goa Medical College Hospital, at Bambolim.
The Ponda police have registered an offence against rider of the two-wheeler Gajanan Sawant from Tisk in Ponda.
