PANJIM: The curtains of the 7th Children’s Tiatr Competition, organised by Tiatr Academy of Goa and supported by Herald Publications, came down with the staging of the tiatr ‘Dixea’ by Milagres Socio-Cultural And Sports Academy on December 16 at GVN, Margao.
The competition was judged by well-known tiatr personalities, Aniceto Lourenco, Domnic D’Costa and Bonifacio Pereira. The results of the competition will be announced and awards will be presented on December 20 at 3.30 pm at GVN, with a special awards presentation ceremony. The highlight of the awards ceremony will be a presentation of a musical show by a cream of selected singers amongst the participating troupes of the competition. Premanand Lotlikar, president of Dalgado Konknni Akademi will be the chief guest, while veteran tiatr artiste Josefina Dias has consented to be the guest of honour.
