PANJIM: The Old Goa police on Sunday arrested Shivram Ramakanth Kadam for allegedly stealing a truck involved in an accident within its jurisdiction
Police informed that the accused, a resident of Indiranagar-Chimbel, allegedly stole the vehicle bearing registration number RJ-06-GA-9995 that was attached under panchanama in an accident case registered at the Old Goa police station under sections 279, 336, 427 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The truck was parked at the roadside near Montfort ITI, Corlim, in an open parking place as the vehicle was not in a driving condition due to the accident and the driver was informed keep the vehicle in custody of the police as directed by the court.
