Chimbel youth dies in mishap

MERCES, MAY 9
A youth from Indira Nagar, Chimbel, died in a road mishap at Indira Nagar in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to reports available, Khudbudin Talwai (21) was driving an Alto car in a rash and negligent manner, when he lost control of the car and dashed it against a temporary compound wall at Indira Nagar. The car then rammed into a PWD chamber and turned turtle.
There were two other occupants in the car, who somehow managed to come out. However, Khudbudin remained trapped inside.
By the time help arrived, more than half an hour had passed. Khudbudin was later pulled out of the car by the residents of the area by lifting one side of the car and shifted in the 108 ambulance to the GMC.
However, the doctors at the GMC declared him brought dead. Later, the post mortem was conducted, which revealed that Khudbudin died due to haemorrhage and shock as a result of head injury.
The body was later handed over to relatives. A case under 174 CrPC has been registered and Old Goa police is conducting investigation.
