“Various resource persons briefed the gathering on agriculture-related topics so that the people benefit from it,” said panch member Frank Viegas.

He added that various banks also participated and that the locals were given a chance to exhibit their locally-grown produce. Agriculture products and machinery were also on display.

The day-long camp that was held on Saturday was aimed at providing Chinchinim farmers with an opportunity to update themselves about various government schemes and the grants they can avail, as well as consider sustainable sources of additional income like beekeeping and honey production.
