MARGAO: The Cuncolim police on a complaint filed by Edwin Martin, Bamola, Chinchinim has registered offence of assault against Sameer Naik and Umesh (full name not known) both residents of Assolna.
The police informed that on Saturday at 10 pm, the two accused persons came to the house of complainant Martin and assaulted him with slaps and fist blows due to which he suffered fracture on one of his fingers. An offence under section 504, 325, 509 read with 34 IPC has been registered against Naik and Umesh by Cuncolim police. No arrest has been made and further investigation is in progress.
