Chopper recovered in Sanvordem murder

CURCHOREM: Curchorem police have recovered the chopper used by Mandanath Bhandari in the murder of his 26-year-old wife Manjusha Bhandari in their house at Mirabhag-Sanvordem on December 1.

CURCHOREM: Curchorem police have recovered the chopper used by Mandanath Bhandari in the murder of his 26-year-old wife Manjusha Bhandari in their house at Mirabhag-Sanvordem on December 1. 
According to the investigating officer PI Ravindra Desai, during interrogation, the accused confessed that on the fateful the day he and his wife had a quarrel over some personal matters when they were having a breakfast. 
“The accused confessed that in a fit of anger he rushed in to the kitchen, brought a chopper and attacked his wife with the same. Later, while going for work he carried the copper and his blood stained cloths and hid them in a bushes at Madel in Mirabhag,” PI Desai informed.
The body of the deceased was handed over to her father after post-mortem for final rites and the two minor children’s custody was given to father of the deceased.
