Chowgule accepts Samaj Seva Sangh proposal

MARGAO, JAN 17  
Noted industrialist Umaji Vishwasrao Chowgule has agreed to associate himself with the Margao-based Samaj Seva Sangh as a special invitee member on its executive committee.
While accepting the proposal, Chowgule has offered to give all possible help to Mahila and Nutan English High School to raise its educational standard through Chowgule College.
Samaj Seva Sangh President Datta Naik welcomed Umaji Chowgule and thanked him for agreeing to the request of associating with the Organisation.
Meanwhile, renowned physician from Margao, Dr Divakar Lolayekar and his wife Shakuntala Lolayekar have jointly donated Rs one lakh to the Samaj Seva Sangh.
The family members of Late Bhagyashri Karapurkar and late Bhagwant Karapurkar have also donated Rs one lakh as endowment to the Sangh.
