VASCO: Around 89 mines workers attached to the Shigao Chowgule Mines have approached the Labour Commissioner at Vasco complaining the company failed to provide them Diwali bonus.
The workers said despite assurances from the management they are facing this treatment.
Speaking to media persons, Union leader Puti Gaonkar said the meeting which was scheduled with the management never happened as none from the Chowgule Company arrived for the meeting with the Labour Commissioner. The next meeting is fixed for December 4.
