Churchill Bros Football Club, Varca, embarks on a new track, in the women’s section as the girls are geared up to participate in the 6th National Indian Women’s League (IWL) football championship to be held in Ahmedabad. This is the first time that Churchill Bros have ventured into the women’s division and have performed with credit, topping the State League.
16 teams will participate in the IWL, with State League champions and the top four teams from last season. The teams will be split into two groups with the top three teams from each group competing in a super-six round to determine the champions.
