PANJIM: Goa State Chief Information Commissioner (GSCIC) Vishwas Satarkaron Tuesday dismissed two appeals filed by RTI activist Adv Aires Rodrigues against the failure of the Raj Bhavan to furnish information sought under the RTI Act.
Adv Rodrigues informed that he will challenge the order of GSCIC before the High Court of Bombay at Goa.
On October 11, 2021, Adv Rodrigues had sought from Goa Raj Bhavan copies of all the official letters written by then Governor Satyapal Malik to the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister during his tenure from November 3, 2019 to August 18, 2020. But PIOinformed that letters were not available despite being searched.
