As you pass through the Old Goa-Pilar Road in Mandur (Dongrim) near the house of famous tiatrist late Jacinto Vaz you will come across a strange sight, the electricity wire is crossed between the pole and a coconut tree to supply the power to three houses in the neighbourhood.
At the side of the road, an electricity pole is set up close to the compound of the property, tied up to a coconut tree and then the incoming electricity wire is connected to the coconut tree and the pole and then is distributed to three houses around crossing out of the compound. The house in the compound is mostly closed, no idea whether the owners are aware of this dangerous mess in front of their house created by the Electricity Department.
It is shocking to notice, how an Electricity Department, linesmen be so clumsy and thoughtless in doing such a messy job, crossing in and out of a private compound and put those residing in it, in danger. Hope the Electricity Department, linesmen will take a note and rectify this clumsy work.
