It is a great idea that someone thought of beautifying Vasco city with trees and gardens.
But one should also think of the after-effects. Citizens can see beetle nut trees planted on road dividers along Swatantra Path. Now the trees have grown so tall that they are touching the overhead electricity lines (as seen in the picture). It is dangerous, as people can get electrocuted.
I have noticed the electricity department workers trimming trees along the overhead electricity lines, but these trees appear to have been left untouched.
Will the electricity department cut down these trees along the Swatantra Path also soon?
