Aadhar card facilitation centre needs to improve citizen services

Serpentine queues have been observed at Aadhar facilitation centre Panjim Patto centre. There is only one day in the month where citizens are required to be present to take an appointment token and moreover the token is pushed on you as per the wishes of the Aadhar card personnel.
One doesn’t have any choice to decide the date of appointment. On the appointment day also you have to wait for hours for your turn to come. The citizens are put into untold hardships. At times one can see verbal alterations between the public and the Aadhar card employees. We understand that the staff is also overburdened.
The government should open more Aadhar facilitation centres to ease out the demand and alleviate the hardships of the public.
