Every now and then one comes across vehicles in a pathetic conditioned lying abandoned by the roadside. This is observed at several places in the State including the capital city of Panjim.
These abandoned vehicles while occupying prime parking space are also a sore sight. The abandoned vehicles involve not just four-wheelers but also two-wheelers as in seen in the photo which occupies a prime spot in the capital city. There needs to be a massive drive against abandoned vehicles carried out all across the State by the authorities concerned. If no one comes forward to claim the vehicle, these vehicles should be disposed off as per specified norms.
