Children are angels. It is really sad to see that our school going children are not allowed to enter private buses because of half tickets. The driver and the conductor of the private buses should be blamed for this because soon as school children try to enter in the bus the bus driver starts the bus and the conductor closes the door of the bus. This is totally harassment and unfair to the children because it puts the child’s life at risk.
There is no safety for the children. The private buses owners also say it is a loss to their business. This begs the question, if it is a loss then why are they not allowing them to board the bus. Is it because they pay for a half ticket instead if a full? Which law teaches the bus driver, conductor and the owner of the bus not to take school children’s in the private buses as they are also the passengers and citizens of this country. These children’s get delayed to reach school and while coming back home from school because of these stupid bus operators. The school children have to suffer all the time as they are in hurry to reach their home’s so that they can get fresh and eat their food as they feel hungry. This is happening mostly all over Goa. Recently it is noticed on Birla Vasco route. Instead of sitting in the office all the time our RTO department along with traffic cell department has to come out on the bus stands and near the school bus stop to monitor the situation and look into this matter and have to take action against the law breakers who refuse to take school children’s on buses. Have these drivers, conductors and bus owners not gone to school when they were kids? All the schools in the Goa State has to make and give a identity Card to the school Children in order to show whenasked by the conductor while they are traveling in the bus.
Request our Goa State government, CM Sir, transport Minister and RTO department to take strong action on this issue. Also requesting all the department to do routine check during the school start and end everyday and take action against the buses who refuse to take school children’s in the private buses. Also requesting school Children’s to complain about the bus by giving the bus register number to the police station or to the RTO department by the help of your school or by the help of your parents when the bus conductor refuse you to take in the bus.
