There is a protruding piece of pipe existing over the excavated portion of road near Goa Bagayatdar at Upper Bazaar in Ponda. The situation turns disastrous for vehicles proceeding along this strategic route. Tyres of vehicles are bound to get punctured in case they come in contact with the protruding section of the pipe. This in turn would cause inconvenience to innocent travellers. In fact they would be delayed in reaching their respective destinations.
As on April 12 at 6:00 pm, situation in this regard was found to be stagnant. The concerned authorities should take a note of this important matter and arrange prompt tarring of the excavated portion of road so that the said section gets covered at the earliest.
Let us hope that favourable action would follow at once in public interest.
