The ‘Jogger’s Park” at Chicalim, which was inaugurated not so long ago, has been attracting large crowds every evening.
Several senior citizens come here to have a relaxing time. The park has come as a boon and many citizens drive to the place just to spend some quality time. However, the road to the park next to one of the gates is in a pathetic condition. It is full of pot-holes and rains have made these pot-holes wider and deeper.
Loose gravel and mud is also strewn all over the place. As a result of this, road-users, specially, two-wheeler riders, have to encounter slippery and dangerous road conditions.
The authorities concerned need to hot-mix the stretch of the road as and when the weather permits.
