Begging is quite an easy and lucrative profession for the people who are illiterate, uneducated and handicapped.
Over the past few days I have been travelling to and fro from Margao to Colva and what do I see around, especially at the traffic signals at KTC Circle? Beggars! From 1 beggar they have risen to 5-10 of them over the past couple of days.
Especially when stuck in traffic, they are a menace as they come window to window of every vehicle stuck in traffic to sell their products or beg.
This is a regular site in metropolitan cities, but for Goa it is something new and its developed recently after the set up of traffic signals. If this continues, God Bless Goa.
