Of late, a large amount of trash has been surfacing at Benaulim beach and the situation keeps worsening day by day.
Nearby restaurants release their kitchen water into a makeshift nullah just off the beach parking area, garbage bags full of stinky waste is dumped right on the promenade which makes it very difficult for people to use the seating area.

The removal of dustbins which were earlier placed on the beach has aggravated the issue. Will the village panchayat which collects taxes with alacrity look into the problem and get the garbage removed?
Concurrently Goa should take measures to stop over tourism, the state has far exceeded its carrying capacity.
