These exposed fuse-boxes on the electricity poles along the pavement near Dempo Tower at Patto, Panjim have failed to catch the eye of the concerned authorities.
The photos clicked on December 2, 2016 at 4:15 pm show the imminent danger these exposed fuse boxes pose to passersby especially pedestrians.
These fuse boxes have remained neglected for a long time and need to be provided with protective covers so as to prevent pedestrians from coming in contact with the live wires.
Let us hope that the concerned authorities would take a note of this serious issue and initiate prompt action before any tragedy occurs.
