Even though there is door-to-door collection of garbage in the port town of Vasco, there are still black spots existing.
Earlier, there were garbage bins placed for people to deposit the waste. Now, as there is door-to-door collection of garbage, these bins have been removed.
As they say old habits die hard, people still continue throwing the garbage at the spot even in the absence of the bin thus creating black spots. These black spots need to be beautified so that people do not throw the garbage here which is later collected by the municipal trucks. One such black spot is seen along the road leading to the newly built four-lane Varnapuri-Sada highway near Mangor as seen in the photo. Another black spot is present next to Borges Building in the town.
