Scenes like these are common on south Goa beaches. Bulls which are meant for dhiros are taken for walk on beaches and even on village roads.
These bulls are very dangerous and can hurt anyone on the way. Most of the time they are handled by young boys and without any piece of log attached to the animal’s neck.
I am given to understand that many Goans who work abroad employ these young boys to look after their bulls. They should rather guide the youngsters to take up jobs and not like these bulls meant for dhiros. Lot of betting and challenges takes place in the name of dhiros. It is cruelty to animals and dangerous to humans. Hope better sense prevails.
