The government gives Rs.1200 towards housewives and Rs.2000 to senior citizens under DSSS and takes away a huge amount by imposing taxes. This is the plight of electricity consumers in Goa. Besides electricity consumption, the Parsekar government charges taxes towards fixed charges, FPPCA charges, electricity duty and so on. This is the way the BJP government is governing Goa.
