Cansaulim faces power, broadband problems

The Electricity Department and the BSNL seem to have joined hands to increase the woes of its captive users with frequent interruptions regularly in electricity supply and internet connectivity on daily basis, respectively in Cansaulim. 

In January, there have been countless interruptions in both services and the users are left to gnash their teeth in anger. 

Unfortunately, there is no option for the users to switch over to another service provider of electricity. Therefore, the hapless users will continue to be held to ransom, unless the Electricity Department improves its services instead of increasing its tariff at the drop of a hat. Similarly, ever since BSNL has offered a golden handshake to its employees last year to trim the fat in its operations, its services have only been going from bad to worse. 

Until and unless the BSNL improves the deteriorating quality of its service, the day is not far off when most, if not all, Broadband users switch over to private service providers, which engage in healthy competition to provide much better and continuously improving service with a view to attracting more and more users in its fold. So, the Electricity Department and BSNL please wake up.
