Like in other cities in Goa, traffic in the port town of Vasco has increased by leaps and bounds. This has led not only to scarcity of parking space but also to massive traffic congestion at peak hours. Such traffic jam is experienced on a regular basis at the Vasco church junction.
To add to the problem stray cattle are seen squatting in the middle of the road as seen in the photo. These cattle appear to be enjoying an afternoon siesta.
Continuous honking doesn’tbother them at all and they continue squatting on the road.
Authorities concerned need to see to it that the roads are free from such stray cattle which can even lead to accidents, especially during nights.
