We the people of Chandor village need zebra crossing lines near the Chandor church and school so that the students and the senior citizens can cross the road without any fear.
Even the signboards and the spread breakers paint have been washed away and need urgent maintenance.
It will be also better if the concerned authority takes interest to fix the streetlights which will guide the travellers at night. Even the signboards, which show the different wards and directions, are not even replaced and the same excuses are given all the time by saying that they will do it. Look likes their tomorrow never comes.
The village border signboard which reads “Chandor Cavorim Welcomes You” is totally washed out. Chandor, which was once upon a time old capital of Goa known as Chandrapur, is today left behind for basic infrastructure.
So we request the Village Panchayat of Chandor Cavorim and our local MLA to do complete all the pending works in the village as soon as possible in interest of the public.
