Chop branches for clear visibility of signboard

Although traffic signboards prove beneficial in assuring safety to innocent travellers, we find some of the signboards in a neglected condition. Recently a dilapidated signboard located along the slope near Civil court at Tisk in Ponda had collapsed to the ground. Presently it has been missing from this spot. The same needs to be replaced with an alternate one at the earliest convenience.
Seen in the picture is another such instance wherein branches of an adjoining tree have been covering the signage of the concerned signboard. The location is near Public Works Department (PWD-Water Division) situated at Daag in Ponda.
For last almost six months, this particular signboard has remained in a neglected condition. This is indeed a sorry state of affairs which needs to be condemned by one and all. As on August 04 at 7:30 am, situation in this important matter was found to be unchanged.
Since the signage is invisible for vehicles proceeding along this strategic route, there is every possibility of serious mishaps taking place here sooner or later. In order to assure safety for commuters, it would be worth for the concerned competent authorities to chop the branches of the nearby tree so that the signboard is clearly visible for vehicular traffic.
No doubt, precious human lives must be assured safety on a permanent basis. Prompt favourable action in this sensitive matter would indeed be appreciated by public at large.
