At many spots we come across grown up bushes along the roadsides. The same could turn to be a hindrance for innocent pedestrians and dangerous for motorists proceeding along the concerned routes. They restrict the visibility of vehicle riders to a great extent.
There are instances wherein traffic signboards remain hidden inside the bushes thereby turning useless in serving the basic purpose of guiding innocent travellers. One such instance is noticed at Farmagudi in Ponda. The signboard depicting direction towards Panjim is found covered with bushes. Hence vehicles proceeding along this location are unable to grab the necessary instruction. It is absolutely necessary for the concerned authorities to clear bushes existing at this spot on priority basis so that the vehicular traffic is able to have a clear view of the said signboard.
Let us hope that prompt favorable action would be initiated in this regard in public interest.
