Clear branches covering traffic signboard in Ponda

Traffic signboards play an important role in guiding motorists at different locations. However, in some areas, we come across signboards that fail to serve their basic purpose. In Ponda, a ‘No Entry’ signboard adjacent to Desai Brothers shop near old bus-stand is in a dilapidated condition for quite some time.

(Seen in the picture) is a signboard indicating ‘Parking Prohibited’ installed adjacent to the pavement opposite Heritage Princess Complex (Block A) near old bus-stand in Ponda. The signboard has been covered with branches of an adjoining tree and hence is unnoticeable for travellers proceeding along this route. Under such circumstances, there is every possibility of people parking their vehicles in this area thereby causing hindrance to smooth movement of traffic. I request the concerned authorities to take a note of above and chop off branches at immediately to ensure the said instruction is noticeable for public. Prompt action will be appreciated by all.
