Herds of stray cattle can be seen in the middle of the road often blocking the traffic and cause accidents. Infact stray cattle have become living speed breakers. They also soil the roads with dung.
Some years back Government of Goa had asked all the village Panchayats to identify a vacant place for cattle pound. Stray cattle should be captured and then send to the pound and thus irresponsible owners should be fined heavily.
Will the concerned authorities, municipalities, panchayats do the needful to clear the roads of this menace by finding a solution in the interest of road safety.
