The letter regarding missing clearance timing on letter-box installed along the road leading towards Shankar-Parvati Temple at Khadpabandh, Ponda was published in this column on January 20.
The customers wishing to drop the letters here were unable to guess the delivery details pertaining to the same. As a result, some people even preferred to drop their letters at the letter-box situated at the main post office situated in the vicinity of old bus-stand (in Ponda) by covering some distance.
Taking a note of the above published letter, the postal authorities were kind enough in mentioning the clearance timing on above letter-box at Khadpabandh. With the said positive change, the customers wishing to drop their important letters would now be able to guess as to when their letters would reach the concerned destination.
It will also prevent them from travelling some distance for dropping the letters at the main post office. Senior citizens would benefit the most. I am thankful to the postal authorities for mentioning the much needed clearance timing for the benefit of innocent customers.
