Rouchell and Rachol Sports and Cultural Association, Raia had recently lodged a complaint to the Asst. Director of Transport South regarding the violation of the Motor Vehicles Act. But till date no action has been initiated, and therefore once again, we are hereby giving a written complaint against motorists who have put coloured bulbs (headlights) like Blue/Orange/Pink/Red colour, etc. for their vehicles.
These lights are very dangerous for human eyes because these rays directly enter into the eyes. All the vehicles should use only normal vehicle lights (lights which directly come for the vehicle at the time of purchasing the vehicle) and not coloured lights as these coloured lights can cause accidents. Also there are many people who have lost their lives due to these coloured lights, because when the vehicles on the opposite direction use coloured lights, then it becomes difficult for the driver to see his vehicle and even lose control of the vehicle and sometimes go off the track.
We would be grateful if the Directorate of Transport takes necessary action against all vehicles using coloured lights and ask them to remove them and put a notification on the newspapers. If they fail to do so, cancel the driving licence and also Registration certificate and impose a fine of Rs 5000 and challan the violators.
