Inspite of writing several letters under this column stating that the traffic lights installed at the court junction are confusing everyone still the authorities have not taken any action. For those who do not understand my language it is simple. You are coming up the slope and want to go to St. Xavier’s College or St Brittos. You have to turn left. So on the left side of the road there must be traffic lights which are either red or green with an arrow pointing left. The second set of red and green lights should be next to it indicating that I can either go straight to Duler or stop and wait.
The next set should be next to it and the green should be pointing right side indicating that I can go to the court or Peddem ground. While the left side is green the right side should be red. So if I am coming up the slope I can go left or straight or right. If I am coming from Duler there should be same set of lights at the left end of the road indicating that I can go left or straight or right. If I am coming from the court side then at the corner of the laundry there has to be a set of lights telling me either I can go left, straight or turn right. Simple. Hope someone will understand this.
